ABOUT US

OUR HISTORY
In the early 2000s, my family and I relocated to a small town that seemed to lack salons catering to people of color. After gaining experience at a barber shop/salon for two years, I knew it was time to establish my salon. Following an extensive search for the perfect location, I came across a place that was on the verge of closing down. We decided to move in and renovate the space, but now we faced the task of choosing a name that would truly make us stand out in this predominantly white town.
Numerous names were suggested, but we needed something that would convey that our salon specialized in black hair. Despite my initial preference for the name "Unbeweaveable" due to my expertise in weaving at the time, my daughter's suggestion prevailed. Thus, in March of 2005, Unbeweaveable Salon was established. The name proved to be striking and effective, attracting clients who continue to visit us to this day.
In 2011, we relocated to a larger and more central location, enabling us to expand our services to include retail options. This addition not only benefits our existing clients but also caters to walk-ins looking for products like braiding hair or edge control. Situated in East Windsor, we take pride in being a community salon that serves a diverse clientele of different ethnicities. At Unbeweaveable Salon, we offer a range of services including haircuts, coloring, hair pressing, relaxers, weaves, braids, and natural hair styling such as twists, locs, and rod sets.
Sincerely,
Audia E. Strachan
